BackMenopace

Menopace is an effective formulation of 21 nutrients for during and after the menopause, which can be taken alongside or independently of HRT. In independent trials, up to 85% of women gave it consistently high ratings in many different areas.

Nutrients for hormone-like substances

The secretion of ovarian hormones estrogen and progesterone declines around the menopause, but menstrual cycles seldom cease abruptly and there is a period of transition in which considerable hormone fluctuations become readily apparent.

The advanced Menopace formula includes vitamin B complex, zinc and magnesium, three nutrients used by the body in the production of GLA (gamma linolenic acid), a precursor of the body's own hormone like substances which help regulate changes in hormone balance.

Helping to maintain menopausal health

Menopace provides vitamin B complex, which is involved in the maintenance of the nervous system and brain function and may help contribute to a normal sense of well-being.

Nutrients for skin collagen

Estrogen has a positive effect on the production of collagen, a substance that forms part of the bone matrix and helps keep skin supple and taught. After the menopause, estrogen production significantly declines and 30% of skin collagen may be lost within five years. Menopace includes vitamin C to help the body maintain collagen production, along with copper, zinc and other minerals important to collagen deposition.

Minerals for strong bones

Menopace provides magnesium, zinc and vitamin D, to help maintain strong bones. These nutrients facilitate bone mineralization, the uptake of calcium and may help maintain bone density. Menopace is designed to be taken in conjunction with a calcium supplement such as Osteocare. Bone health is particularly important for women during menopause, since bone loss may accelerate from 0.1% to 3% per annum during this time.

Nutrients for heart health

It is thought that lower estrogen levels may influence heart and cardiovascular health in older women. Menopace includes antioxidants like selenium and vitamin E, to help prevent the unwanted oxidation of fat and cholesterol and help balance cholesterol levels in the blood. Optimal levels of vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid also help maintain healthy lower levels of a blood amino acid called homocysteine that is independently linked with heart health.

What do you need to know before starting to use Menopace?

Menopace does not contain any hormones, and can be taken with or without HRT. Menopace is suitable for use by women who have had partial or a full hysterectomy.

When is Menopace recommended?

Menopace is an effective once-a-day supplement specially formulated to help maintain health and vitality during and after the menopause, and can be continued after the menopause for as long as required. There is no maximum length of time over which Menopace can be used. Menopace is also recommended for those women who have an early menopause.

Can Menopace be used simultaneously with HRT and what about other medications or conditions?

Generally, Menopace may be used alongside other medications such as HRT because it contains only moderate levels of vitamins and minerals, and it is free of any drugs or hormones. For specific advice on taking Menopace with other medicines, we recommend that you contact your doctor or pharmacist first.

How and when should Menopace be used?

One tablet per day is recommended with or immediately after your main meal, with a full glass of water or a cold drink. Taking the tablet with a large meal maximizes the absorption of the nutrients, and can reduce nausea, which is sometimes experienced if multivitamins are taken on an empty stomach. Menopace should only be taken on a full stomach. Always ensure that Menopace is taken with plenty of liquid to wash the tablet down, and not tea or coffee as this may cause the tablet to disintegrate too early.

Are there any undesired effects whilst taking Menopace?

Menopace has no known side effects when taken as directed. Do not exceed the recommended tablet intake. In case of overdose, seek medical advice immediately.
